Ever since their promotion to the Premier League, Brighton & Hove Albion have been the bane of West Ham's existence. The Seagulls are unbeaten in 11 matches against the Hammers, and the two sides will meet again Saturday at the AMEX for some Premier League action.

West Ham's run in the domestic cups officially ended earlier this week, as a 3-1 loss against Manchester United saw us dip out of the FA Cup. Benrahma's beautiful goal in the first half did not amount to much, as a flurry of goals from the Red Devils saw them advance to the quarterfinals of the competition.

The focus for this season is now on survival in the Premier League (and the Europa Conference League of course). Saturday's opponents are one of the best-run clubs in England at the moment, as a seamless transition from Graham Potter to Roberto De Zerbi has kept the Seagulls fighting around the European spots.

De Zerbi deserves loads of credit for what he's done with this group since taking over, but this recent success is a testament to how well Brighton have recruited and developed their players over the past few years. Brighton have habitually bought players for pennies on the dollar, turning them into highly-sought after European stars, ie: Cucurella, Caicedo, Mac Allister, Mitoma, and many more.

Their squad is filled with loads of technically gifted players who can play a variety of positions. Not to mention they're all young and full of energy. So hopefully, our defense is up for the pressing challenge.

Typically there's an angle on why I think West Ham can pull out a result, even against some of the top clubs, but I frankly don't see it on Saturday. Brighton pose numerous threats to our team, and it'll take multiple individual moments of brilliance for West Ham to scrape out a result. Get ready for another round of #MoyesOut tweets at the final whistle tomorrow.
