After back-to-back Premier League defeats, West Ham travel to the Etihad Stadium for a tricky fixture against Pep Guardiola's surging Manchester City. The Hammers come into this matchup sitting 15th in the top flight, only four points off the drop.

It's that fun time of the season when Man City pushes for the title, and sadly West Ham finds themselves in the way of this unstoppable force. Even with Kevin De Bruyne missing today's match, City won't have many problems.

Their side is led by everyone's favorite Norwegian striker, Erling Haaland. He has 34 goals this campaign, including two against us on the opening day. But even if he doesn't find the scoresheet, Pep has a plethora of attacking options at his disposal that can hurt us, such as Alvarez, Foden, and Grealish.

History isn't on the Hammers' side today. West Ham has lost their last six matches at the Etihad, scoring only four goals in those efforts. Moyes will have us set up quite defensively, trying to absorb City's chances and hit on the counterattack. Supposedly West Ham will field a weakened lineup this afternoon to rest key players for Manchester United on Sunday.

Safe to say I'm not confident about our chances whatsoever. Once the Cityzens grab one, the floodgates will open, leaving West Ham empty-handed going back to London when the 90 minutes are up.
